Jane’s Dough is an educational website that provides free courses and other resources to help young women improve their financial literacy. Their mission is to close the financial literacy gap between genders by making financial education easily accessible to everyone. I designed the logo and identity of the brand and created the landing page of their website. The topic of money managment can be very serious and sometimes intimidating—I implemented light, inviting colors and friendly typefaces in the brand to counter that.
Jane’s Dough was created as a response to a SuperHi project in the Visual Design & Branding course. Students were asked to pick a social cause we care about and create a brand and landing page that relates to our chosen cause. I was excited to take this course as my most recent graphic design position pushed me in the direction of focusing on digital media and web rather than a print medium. During this project I practiced building a brand guidelines document and basic structuring of a web page.
